The coronavirus crisis is also hitting small manufacturing companies hard, so the prospective managing directors, Martin and Christian Launhardt, have been looking for ways to keep their employees employed while simultaneously providing support during the coronavirus pandemic, given the slump in orders. For this reason, the Launhardt brothers reacted quickly and switched production to the manufacture of nose clips for face masks (see image). With this change and the quick response, Launhardt was able to cushion the drop in orders, keep employees employed, and also open up an additional business area.

Since the Launhardt company in Zülpich's switch to producing nose clips helped them through the difficult times of the coronavirus crisis, the Launhardt brothers also want to help and support the region. For this reason, Launhardt, in cooperation with a good customer from the mask manufacturing industry (https://bicalla.de/cms/masken/) donated 500 face masks with a material value of approximately €2,500 to the local food banks in Zülpich, Euskirchen, and Frechen. These masks from Bicalla are manufactured with the plastic-coated nose clips by Launhardt GmbH.
