3D printed earplugs and holder
Not only ear molds and hearing protectors that are individually adapted to the respective ear canal, but also the cord holders required for them can be manufactured economically, with high quality and in high quantities using industrial 3D printing.
One example of this is the new cord holder designed by Launhardt for hearing protection as personal protective equipment (PPE) in industrial plants. Here, the design of an adapted geometry with a defined pull-out force was necessary and could be implemented in a very well reproducible and visually appealing geometry via a few iteration steps.
